‘Karachi Se Lahore’ trailer hits the comic bullseye

Although there is still some time for the actual product to be unveiled, but the recently released trailer of the upcoming film, Karachi Se Lahore, seems to have won the public already.

And why wouldn’t it, the film from the peek through it’s trailer looks to not only have a good portion of organic humour, but also some catchy music, an entertaining cast and an interesting enough plot. All the necessary ingredients to make it a potential blockbuster we say. (more…)

Move over Mehwish “Billi” Hayat and Zhalay Sarhadi’s “Jawani” as the latest item girl Ayesha Omar is here!

It would not be wrong to say that it’s raining item numbers these days for the Pakistani Film Industry. While we were still recovering from the seductive act of Mehwish Hayat aka “Billi”, we were treated to Zhalay Sarhadi’s “Jawani” number from the recently released Jalaibee ( although in all fairness it wasnt much of an item number nor was much of a treat but anyhow was a decent song). And while we were still celebrating this song and the success of “Jalaibee” we were further given another reason to groove as just yesterday popped up on the internet this new short clip.


Yalghaar set to release on Eid-ul-Fitr 2015, trailer releases in March! (Official)

It is announced, it’s official and it is not really too far. The Yalghaar fever is set to get high on nerves as the release date for the film trailer and the film itself has finally been officially announced.

The announcement came just some moments back on Yalghaar’s official Facebook page where it was announced that while the “Yalghaar trailer shall be released in the second week of March” this year, the film itself will hit cinemas on Eid-ul-Fitr 2015. (more…)

‘Karachi Se Lahore’ will “entertain the audiences:” Says director Wajahat Rauf

There maybe some more time for Pakistan film industry to get back on its feet, but what we can say now for sure is that it is at least on the right track. You don’t quite agree? Well, the number of films set to release this year may probably prove you wrong. And hey, there is a new one in the list; the road-trip romantic comedy, Karachi Se Lahore.

Starring Shahzad Sheikh, Ayesha Omar and the veterans Javed Sheikh and Rashid Naz in prominent roles, along with Eshita Syed, Ahmed Ali, Yasir Hussain, Mantaha Tareen and Ashir Wajahat in other significant roles, the film is being directed and produced by Wajahat Rauf, whose production and directorial portfolio includes TV hits like, Nikah, Soteli, Shabe Aarzoo Ka Alam and Danish Taimoor and Aieza Khan starer romantic-comedy Jab We Wed.
